Three Words: Little.Black.Dress.

'The little black dress' we hear this alot from girls for ever.It is a must have for every girl. The little black dress is a simple black dress which one can wear at any occasion. Ummm for example you can wear a black dress with a jacket and pumps for your daytime business and with nice ornate jewelry for the evening.

There were hell lot of fashion eras. We don't have to know them all but one 'the Victorian era'. The black colour which is a life saver for every girl was considered distasteful to wear, black was strictly restricted for times of mourning. We should thank Coco Chanel for making a very simple yet elegant design otherwise till date wearing black would have been difficult. Think about us, black gives us hope that we can look nice in public and not look fat for a change *jk*

So ya Chanel made the design and our favourite vogue magazine published it. Vogue also said that it would become "a sort of uniform for all women of taste". The little black dress got popular throughout the great depression. Filmmakers relied on it because other colours looked distorted on screen also it helped audience to focus more on the star. Soo true, we generally pay more notice to the dress than the performance. Be it Deepika Padukone in Ramleela or Preity Zinta in Salam Namaste. The love for the little black dress did not end. The black Givenchy dress of Audrey Hepburn in Breakfast at Tiffany’s, designed by Hubert De Givenchy gave an amazing example of the standard for wearing little black dresses accessorized with pearls (together called "basic black").

Betty Boop, a cartoon character based in part on the 1920s' "It Girl" was drawn wearing a little black dress in her early films. The little black dress is now considered as a rule of fashion.

So yeah those who don't have their little black dress in the wardrobe, go grab it now, and I will get mine.. hahaha:P.

One quote of the Duchess: "When a little black dress is right, there is nothing else to wear in its place."

Don't Get Sad, Buy A Bag!

A Bag! If you look at the exact definition of a good bag it says 'a flexible container with an opening at the top, used for carrying things!' Hahahah for me a good bag is the one which can hold my things, go with all my outfits, has jaw dropping designs or colours. I am very choosy when it comes to bags, I go crazyyy. Finding a reasonably fashionable bag is very tough. Actually it was.. few days back I came across this amazing brand P.N.A Origine.
Awesome collection, fascinating colours, very spacious. I bought two bags. Both of them solved all my needs. I have to carry so much to college, and it became very difficult for me.
This bag was originally a laptop bag..but laptop rakhne ke baad bhi you have enough space left to keep your other stuff..in my case make up, phone charger blah blah..

This one has hell lot of space to put everythinggg..I mean it. The colour combination, the style, the price. Everything is crazily nice.

Now buying a bag is no more difficult. Check out the bags and do try them they are amazingly nice..

Go Floral This Spring!

Floral for spring are the new Dawn of Femininity.Floral designs were always in demand. If we take a look at our history which i know you don't want to but yeah..floral print originates from the east and Asia, traders brought fabrics with ornate floral designs to Europe where they sold for very high prices.Wearing these fabrics was a status symbol..yes! yes! at that time also people were very conscious about their status.

We first saw fabrics with floral designs in the late Middle Ages, and now we see everybody wearing them. I personally like the whole idea of clothes with floral patterns. Ugh! it's so hot these days and seeing somebody wearing a floral dress or a shirt soothes alot.

When you first look at a floral fabric the first thing that comes to your mind is whether i am gonna be overdressed or something, then you think about what will you wear with it and 100 more doubts will come to your mind. This trend is all about Capturing the strong feminine flower power by wearing floral fashion in interesting and unexpected new ways.

The safest way to wear a floral fabric is to wear it as a top with a flared skirt you can even wear a cardigan or jacket over it so that it could peak through your casual outfit. Printed pants are seen almost everywhere. A suggestion, If you are curvy or bottom heavy, opt for prints that space smaller flowers so as to not emphasise areas that you may be conscious about. Yes i know finding something to wear with it is difficult at times but you can always wear it with plain coloured shirts or with a plain jacket.

Floral Accessories like scarfs, jewelry can help alot in adding to your look. A pair of floral shoes or pumps, can be worn with a simple outfit so that the shoes can take away all the attention.

This is how i would wear my floral's. So give it a try and lemme know how it was!:)
